What to bring: Tent, Sleeping Bag, Flashlight, Waterproof Jacket, Gloves, Bonnet Emergency Blanket, Oxygen can, Medicines, Food & Water

The DENR Station

Registration & orientation takes place at the DENR local office. Tour guide is required. No medical certification, No permit to hike (New policy for the hikers' safety). The mountain is sacred for the locals believe it as the playgrounds of the gods.

The Ranger Station - starting point of trek

The hike starts at 1:00 AM & must reach the summit before 5:00AM for you to be able to witness the beautiful sun

rise & the appearance of the Sea of clouds. A beautiful creation comes after the Sea of clouds disappear.

The Trail - Ambangeg Trail (Easy Trail)

You will going to pass a mossy forest which features floras & faunas. Edible & non-edible wild berries are everywhere. On the grassland, you can have rest or have your picture perfect shots for Instagram post. At night you can witness how majestic the place is. Look above and catch shooting stars falling on your feet. Featuring the romantic night the nature gives, the cold breeze that embraces the guests, & the belief that couples will have that thing called "FOREVER" once they reach the summit & witness the sunrise together. This give the reasons for couples to hike & experience the said "Adventure above the Clouds."

Approximately, the summit is about 2,922masl meeting the borders of Benguet, Ifugao & Nueva Vizcaya provinces. The mountain was so called Pulag which means "bald" or "kalbo" in Tagalog, because no trees have grown up in the high land. Give it a break for your lenses to capture the wide view under the blue sky. Enjoy the scenery overlooking Cordillera Mountains. Enjoy the feeling of success of surpassing the clouds. Hide yourselves on the endemic dwarf bamboos & rest for a while after the 4 hours early morning hiking adventure above the clouds. All hardships upon reaching the summit all worth it.
